Problem before platform
Technology selection should follow an understanding of the work, constraints, users, risk and expected value.
doss was created around a simple idea: many business-process problems deserve better technology without becoming another large, slow and expensive enterprise IT program.
doss grew from direct experience with a core business process built around manual steps, spreadsheets, limited data-integrity controls and significant quality risk. The traditional alternatives were to keep living with the process or add scope to a much larger enterprise-system program.
Instead, a focused application-platform solution created a faster path with far less overhead. What started as one practical answer exposed a much larger opportunity: organizations have countless processes that deserve better technology but do not justify a massive software initiative.
When doss began, no-code/low-code was the technology opening up new possibilities. Today the toolkit is much broader: AI, no-code/low-code, APIs, integrations, workflow automation, data platforms and custom development.
doss does not begin by trying to place every challenge onto one preferred platform. We start with the process, understand what is actually wrong, and choose the technology that best fits the problem.
Technology selection should follow an understanding of the work, constraints, users, risk and expected value.
Build enough to learn something real before asking an organization to make a larger technology or operating-model commitment.
The goal is not automation for its own sake. The goal is a simpler, more controlled and more valuable way to perform the work.
doss is built to help organizations across industries. Manual work, spreadsheet dependence, repetitive handoffs, fragmented data and over-sized enterprise technology alternatives are not unique to healthcare or life sciences.
For organizations operating in regulated or high-risk environments, that experience also means doss understands that speed cannot come at the expense of documentation, testing, validation, security or governance.
Explore regulated use cases →Focused solutions can create meaningful value without requiring every business-process need to become scope inside a multi-year transformation initiative.
AI can be powerful, but it is one option among many. doss uses it where it improves the solution rather than forcing it into every engagement.
doss can educate, evaluate, prototype, build, integrate, validate or support depending on where the organization needs help.
The best outcome is not greater dependency on doss or a particular platform. It is a solution and operating model the customer can understand, govern and evolve.
